Beth's Story
Life: I am newly retired. I plan to spend some time with my mother in PA.
I was a teacher of grade 8 Social Studies, in New Fairfield CT for 21 years. I've volunteered for the last eight years on my "free" Saturdays with a thrift mart that does marvelous things for our community, especially financial aid to the needy and scholarships for college students. I serve as there press secretary.

Two Children, Jaime 33 and married, working in marketing and living outside of Providence. Bradley, 29, is a rep for Prometheus and lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Ejehan.
My husband of 39 years, Joe, will be retiring in December. I'm looking forward to retirement. Still love the kids but the politics of school and "No Child Left Behind" are a bit much. Got any ideas for a second career?
