Great jobs I've had: Secretary to the Supt. of Schools, Whitehouse ISD; Office Mgr. for a CPA firm In Lonview; Current job at a construction co. in Sugar Land; self-employed esthetician/facialist and massage therapist in Richmond, TX (current) Interesting jobs: Dept. of the Army, Ft. Meade, MD, Surgeon General's Office, Personnel Procurement (We drafted doctors into the Army during the Viet Nam War.); Office mgr. for my husband's co., an engineering firm specializing in design and construction of rice processing plants here and abroad - (My husband passed away in 2002.) Best job: Raising my two sons and being their mom has to be the best job I have ever had or will have. My older son is a ninth grade algebra teacher in Longview. My younger son graduated from Bauer Business School at U of H and works in Dallas for a medical staffing firm. They both have been the joy of my life. Places I've been: Mexico, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, Italian Alps, Italy, Spain, Madeira , France, Corsica, Bahamas, CA, AZ, NV, AR, MD, NY, NC, VA, AL, GA, and NJ Being in Paris on the Champs-Elysees on my birthday (7/27/2003) when Lance Armstrong won his fifth le Tour de France and seeing the Texas and American flags flying high was the most exciting trip to say the least.
