Thomas's Story
Life
Since graduation I have experienced many unusual and varied things - some very positive, some not so happy, and some I still cannot quite figure out. Life has been very good and I have no complaints with life or how I ended up where I am now.
I spent 7 years in the active military and then attended college at South Georgia and West Georgia. I graduated from West Georgia with a BA in Philosophy in 1997, and followed up with a GA RE license and a Paralegal Certificate. While a student I performed every job imaginable - I cropped tobacco, I changed oil, I worked in several warehouses and a couple of factories, and I tutored home schoolers. I even had a job "catching chickens" once - for those that know what it is, please don't laugh; for those that don't know, be glad you don't. All of the experiences helped to forge the man I am now - whether that is good or bad I don't know. But I had some very positive experiences and wouldn't change a thing.

y (as of 5/06). We all cram into a house that seems smaller than it is and try to live our lives in relative peace. We reside in Dallas, GA which is about 45 miles west of Atlanta. It once was a long way from anywhere, but the county just finished the new four lane, so we are in the main now. I suppose my life is just like everyone else's - work, family, eat, sleep - with very little variance in how things are done, but it could be that I am a boring and listless person who doesn't know excitement when he sees it. I am not sure - I do not have much time to ponder it really.
I currently work as a Lease Broker & Lease Analyst in commercial and industrial real estate. It is not as riveting a job as it sounds - not quite as exciting as racing or hang gliding, but it has its moments. I am involved in many activities to include Church, Habitat for Humanity and local Republican politics, as well as various local projects to benefit and enrich my community. I would rather be fishing than working, but I am fond of a roof and food, so I can't do it much.
