Erin's Story
Life
A short sum up of my life to this point..... I joined the National Guard in high school. I have now been in the guard for over 10 years. I met a wonderful man in my unit named Bill and we were married in Feb of 2003. Our unit was deployed in Mar of 2003. We spent some time in Ft. Mc Coy, WI and then about nine months in Ft. Irwin, CA. We got home in Mar of 2004 and were put back on alert in May of the same year. We deployed with our unit again in Oct of 200...Expand for more
4 and spent two months in Ft. Benning, GA. We arrived in Kuwait the day before Christmas eve and soon started haul missions in to Iraq. I am happy to say that our unit lost no soldiers during that time and we all returned safe and sound on Dec. 14 of 2005. And about two weeks after we got home Bill and I conceived our first child who is due Sept 25 of this year. We are looking forward to some much needed civilian time and are eager to start our lives as new parents.
