Marion's Story
Life
Life is full of so many changes, as I am sure most of you would agree. I went into the Navy in July 2000, in 2001 I was married, my daughter was born in 2002. Right now we live in Georgia and life couldn't be sweeter.
School
In school I was the loner, I barely had any friends, and if I did they were considered the outcasts. Probably my favorite teacher in high school was at North Mason High School, her name was Ms. Cox, she was the most inspiring teacher to me, she taught us that having our own opinion was a great thing, that it was okay to think differently and that we grow more when we share them. I didn't really do it then, but I have learned that I can be me and have my own opinions, and that I can believe in myself.
College
At this point in my life I have had really no formal college education, however in the near future I do plan to star...Expand for more
t courses to become an Architectural Designer, something like that. It is something that I have always had a drive to do since I was a little girl. I am hoping that maybe someday my name will be known, even if it's in a small area, and who knows, maybe it will be a bigger area as my skill improves.
Workplace
At the moment I am a stay at home mom, but hopefully in a couple years I will be living my dream of being an Architectural Designer, will update this when that day comes.
Military
I was in the military from 2000-2002. It was a learning experience for me, I learned that the military wasn't for me for one thing, but I also took away a strength that has helped me out a lot. I did make some lasting friends, some in the military too, and some not, they have all been a good blessing, a huge part of the strength that I have gained in the last few years.
