Tommy's Story
Life
I have been employeed as a Correctional Officer with the Kentucky Department of Corrections for 7years. I began my career
with the department in May of 2002 at the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Lagrange Kentucky. I worked at that facility for one year,transfering to the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in June of 2003. I was assigned to the 4p.m.-12a.m. shift until July of 2005. ansfered to the 8a.m.-4p.m. shift. I have
also been a member of the Corrections Emergency Response Team(CERT) since November of 2005. In May of 2009 I started working 4/10 hour shifts. I am a member of the Magoffin County Rescue Squad. I also work part time at the Salyersville Funeral Home as a funeral attendant/funeral director's assistant, and I am drummer for a gospel group called "The Road Less Traveled"
