Marcia's Story
I always wanted to be a Business Manager when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were on point.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have education, skills/ability, and experience to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I blow off steam by working out, jogging and swimming (occassionally).
My hero has alwyas been God! I remember him in everything I do.
I've lived in: the upper Michigan, Texas, Georgia and currently Virginia.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is everyone because I'm curious about how and what they've been doing since graduation.
I don't have any obsessions, but I do enjoy: plays, sports, movies, outdoors, reading, etc.
What I've learned from my kids is that life is funny and laugh, a lot.
If I could see all my teachers again, I would. I didn't really have a favorite one.
If I won $100 million dollars; I'd give some to my mother, put some up for my (2) children's future, give some to a charity (of my choice) and spend the rest on ME!
Yes, I lived in a dorm when I went away to college. ...Expand for more
Campus life was wonderful. I just didn't appreciate it at the time.
I work very hard everyday on my current job; but my career goal is to be an entrepreneur.
I have no idea what happened to my first crush, but I sure would like to know. (smile)
My best friend would tell you I'm a wonderful, person/mother/friend, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a workaholic.
If I had one thing to do over; the one thing that I would do differently would be the decision that I made after I graduated.
My oldest friend and I met around the 9th grade. I guess the reason we clicked, so well, is because we were alot alike. And we've managed to keep in touch and watch our kids grow together all these years.
What would suprise everyone at my high school reunion; I haven't the faintest idea.
My first job was at Olga's Kitchen (Northland Mall), where I got paid $------- to be a waitress. What I remembered most about this job was that I really had to have lots of patience to deal with customers and the less money you make; the harder you work (smile).
