Judith's Story
Workplace
I am currently working as a missionary in San Jose, Costa Rica. My job is Director of Admission and Registrar at the Latin America Training Network, an online evangelical seminary in Spanish.
In addition to this I am involved in a children's feeding ministry in a poor barrio of San Jose and visit English-speaking foreigners who are incarcerated in the women's prison here. You can read more about these things on my bulletin board.
Prior to this, I was the director of a school of English and music in San Francisco de Macoris, the Dominican Republic, where I lived for three years. I arrived there after living in Des Moines...Expand for more
, Iowa 25 years. I worked there for 16 years in admissions at Drake University, where I completed my bachelor's degree and earned a master's in Higher Education Administration.
Family
From high school, I attended Spring Arbor University in Michigan where I met my husband. We were married in 1969 and moved to Asbury, KY and then to Iowa. We've been divorced since Feb. 1999 after nearly 30 years of marriage and have a daughter who lives with her family in Gravette, AR and a son who is single and living in Indianapolis. My daughter has six children, the oldest 16 (almost 17) and the youngest born in March 2010. Love being a grandma!
