Cathy's Story
I got married 3 weeks after high school and went to work helping my husband build a homebuilding business and having a family. We have 4 children(3 daughters and 1 son), 2 grandchildren (+ one on the way!). Dale & I made it to the 10 year and 20 year class reunions when we still lived in Arkansas. We tragically lost our son, Michael, in a car accident 2 weeks after his 20th birthday on July 25, 2002. ince then and really did not feel up to attending the last reunion (July is still a hard month), but hopefully will make an event in the future. Our family relocated to Minnesota in August 2005 and the change has helped, I think.
I made the decision to go back to college this year and am pursuing a degree in Medical Assisting. I have always been interested in the medical field and decided to go for it. I plan to graduate about this time next year (Summer 2010.) Better late than never, I guess.
