Heidi's Story
Heidi Wittmann - Kactro
Wife of 31 years to my sweet Michael.
Mom of three sons:
Curt - 25, UW - Whitewater, PFC Kyle -US Army, Fort Bliss, Texas, SC 22 and PFC Christopher - 19, US Army, Irbil, Iraq.
I am also Mom to two cats and one dog.
I work as a clinical office assistant in hospital/physical therapy for Aurora. I've been a part of Aurora for fourteen years.
I am a survivor of Stage II Colon Cancer ... yeah! And would gladly share my story with any one who needs positive energy.
Two years ago I had a total knee replacement - and would gladly share that journey as well.
I am starting a new chapter in my life this month, I am being trained as a hospice volunteer. I am excited about the opportunity.

Before babies and bad knees, I loved to downhill ski, after the boys came, we did a lot of x-country skiing. Mike, who is involved with golf and parks, and I love to take little adventures to some of the great parks in the state of Wisconsin. I still play my flute from time to time, enjoy music immensely. I love my ipod and itunes and a nifty new site called thesixtyone. I enjoy sketching and pen and ink.
My greatest passion is a love for storytelling and writing, and I always have at least two stories going at once, right now I have three plots working around in my brain and on to paper.
I am at peace with my life and look to the future with a smile.
