Well, I guess I could start by saying I'm the kid Bill Quern couldn't talk into running for Pep Club Yell Leader in my junior year as he was graduating and no one had signed up. Hence the formation of the Pep Club Yell Team. Looking back that was a really stupid move on my part. Left high school, got married and had three kids, then divorced and married a wonderful girl with three of her own. Now we have the six not-so-Brady-type-bunch, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. And the list seems to grow every year. I began working for Seattle City Light on the power line crews in 1968 and retired from there 33 years later as a line crew foreman. Great job, but the body told me it was done doing that. I also joined the Navy Reserve in 1978, Seabees, and worked my way to Senior Chief before retiring from that after 25 years. Retired from both in 2002 within months of each other.
