Life
Looks like all that great education at CR finally paid off. Our kids are spread out from coast to coast with 3 grandkids in Alberta. My dear wife, bless her, tried to retire again but found she still needed someone to boss around. Seeing as I wasn't about to volunteer for the role, she took a job as VP of New Mexico State University-Carlsbad. This works out well as it gets that bossing thing out of her system and we get to live in anot...Expand for more
her very interesting area. We are starting to acclimatize to where 90F is a nice temp to sit on the patio. We try to escape to high elevations on the summer weekends, though.
I keep busy by singing in a barbershop quartet, doing photography and photoshop, and am a CASA (court appointed special advocate). Cooking and barbecuing take up a lot of my time and interest. I convert recipes to low sodium and try to maintain or improve the flavor.
