Bruce's Story
Just to let all of you know what is going on in my life now. Sherry and I are still married now for 29 years. It amazes me sometimes that she has put up with me all of this time. Nathan, our oldest, is married and has 2 children, Ella who is now 3 and the newest addition Jackson who was born in Nov. 2009. They live in the Yorktown area. Nick, our next in line, is finishing up a business degree in agriculture an Ivy Tech in Lafayette. He has a serious girl and I see a marriage when she gets finished with her degree at Ball State. Natalie, our youngest, is a freshman at Indiana Weslyan in Marion. I am proud she is even pursuing a degree, as school was not her strong point but she is doing quite well in college. She is not sure what she wants to do down the road.
Sherry is the activity director at the Woodlands in New Castle. It is an assisted living...Expand for more
housing for the retired community. She has done this for 4 years now and really enjoys it. I am still at Magna Machine, where I started working when I was in school. I am now shop foreman and a co-owner of the business. I am wanting to retire in another 10 years. It is about time to travel and see the world. Sherry and I love camping and spending as much time with our grandchildren as possible. Sherry loves scrapbooking and photography. We have tons of pictures of family everywhere.
I love to fish and golf as much as I can. I also referee basketball during the season.
Now that the kids are all gone from home, it gives Sherry and I a chance to spend a lot of time together. We have had kids since we were 17 years old and it's kind of like getting to know each other all over again. Life is good right now and I'm very thankful for all that I have!!
