let us see... after high school, i joined the marine corps and was sworn in on 13 November 2003 and shipped (left for y'all not military) on 29 June 2004. I spent exactly 6 months on Marine Corps Recruit training Depot (MCRD) San Diego, CA instead of the normal three. training so i could graduate. i cannot begin to ever describe what it was like when i was handed my eagle, globe, and anchor from my drill instructor with the words " you have earned this, Marine". that was the 7 December 2004 i came home for about one month then shipped again for camp penelton in cal. for MCT at the school of infantry (that is Marnie Combat Training for those still reading) i was there for about three weeks then moved on to Twenty-Nine Stumps, CA for Comm School (Again That is Twenty-Nine Palms and is Communications School)
