Kathy's Story

Life Lets see....where to begin.....I was married in 1991, I have two kids who are now 15 and 11. I was divorced in 2001 and am not married right now, but, I do have a boyfriend I live with. We have been with eachother for about four years. I have lived in Idaho since 1993. I visit Utah about every other month to see my sister Kaarin. I look prettty much the same except for the big hair. LOL! I really have not changed that much except I am more easy going and not worried about what people think of me. I am outgoing and not afraid of saying what I want to say. Life is to short to not let people know how you feel about them.I am not afraid of rejection like I was or afraid to tell someone I cared about them or they made me mad or did something that made me happy. I still like to laugh and can make fun of myself. I have grown up a lot and am more mature and I hope a bit smarter than I was then. I do not go out and party like I did back in school, but I do like to go out and dance. I now listen to country music and love to county swing dance. I workout, and worked at Golds Gym for a while. I love being a mom and my kids and I are very close. We love to go camping and fishing, or just spend time together. My daughter is very smart and is just the sweetest most kind hearted little person ever. (not sure where she gets that since I was not always the most ki...Expand for more
nd person) My son is a big help to me and has a great sense of humor and makes me laugh everyday. Even though he is a teenager, he always tries to include his sister in the things he does. They are great friends as well as brother and sister. It is really fun to see them grow up. I have learned to be both mom and dad since their dad lives in Arizona and see's them for about three weeks during the summer, but I would not change anything for the world. They are the best. I don't know what I would do without them. My son is now bigger than me, not that that is a suprise since I am 5 foot 3 and 105 LBS. LOL!! It is amazing how fast they grow up. It seems like yesterday that they were little. We all have been involved with Kenpo Karate, but we have not been doing it as much as we use to. My ex husband and the kids and I lived in Italy for a while for his job. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Europe is a very diffrent and wonderful place. I hope I get to go back there sometime. I think life is full of ups and downs but I think I have delt with the downs pretty well. (I guess most of the time) I have a really good group of friends and they keep me centered most of the time. LOL!I hope to hear from all of you. I do still keep in touch with a few of my good friends from school, but would love to catch up with those of you I have lost contact with.
