Ann's Story
Hi to all long lost friends. Many moons ago after graduation I married Larry Smith(class of '64), moved to Okinawa for 2 yrs, returned and lived in O'fallon for many years. We had 2 great kids. We divorced, I remarried and my husband's job transferred us and the kids to Wilmington, NC. Beautiful old town sitting between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean (about 1 1/2 hours north of Myrtle Beach, SC for all your golfers and beach lovers).
I have been a widow since 1991. For the last 9 yrs. I have been an office coordinator in a dental office. Have 2 granddaughters ..3.5 and 8 mo. They are the joy of my life. I have been blessed...Expand for more
with 2 wonderful children who have always comforted and supported me through the difficult times. Looking forward to retirement(when? WHO KNOWS.)
UPDATE: As of June 1, 2011, I now live in Louisburg, NC (about 45 min from Raleigh) to be near my daughter and 2 granddaughters. Enjoying retirement and my new (old cozy cottage in Louisburg)!!!
UPDATE: My granddaughters are now 8 and 5 and growing up much too quickly. I am so glad I moved so I can enjoy their young years and be active in their lives. Enjoyed seeing many classmates in June 2015 and looking forward to our big 50th year class reunion. Hope everyone can make it June 11,2016.
