Ann's Story
After high school I graduated from GRCC where I met Jim. We got married in 1983 and moved to Vancouver, WA in 1984. Our first daughter, Katie, was born in 1988 and is currently a junior at Pacific Lutheran University. Kellie was born in 1991 and is a junior in high school. Jim works for the Clark County Sheriff's Department.
I have worked part time for the City of Vancouver for the past 16 years which has given me the time to be involved in the girl's lives. Kellie has started her list of colleges to visit this year which has made me realize tha...Expand for more
t I'm not sure I'm ready to be an empty nester. I really enjoy my girls' company and I'm going to miss having them around. Fortunately we still have 2 years before that happens. I'm thinking, though, the empty nester thing is why my family just got me a puppy. Hmmm...
I really enjoy traveling and that is something I'm looking forward to doing more of once the girls have moved out.
I have to admit that I'm a little nervous for the upcoming reunion because I have apparently adopted the "gain a pound a year" program since I've graduated. :(
