Dara's Story
Hello Everyone! I guess you guys all know me as Dara Miller. My lastname changed to Smith on July 4, 1997 when I married my wonderful husband, Derik. He is a soldier and we met while I was attending APSU! When we married we moved to Ft Bragg, NC where I am currently living now. I have lived in Germany for five of the ten years of my marriage. I lived in Mannheim and Stuttgart. I absolutely love Germany. I wish we could still live there now. The culture is awesome. There is always something to do or some kind of festival to attend. My favorite is fashcing! That is the Germany style carnival, that begins before Ash Wed. I have travel all throughout Eur...Expand for more

Derik and I have a little girl, named Hannah. She was born in 2005. She is the center of our universe. We were blessed to have her after Derik spent a year in Iraq. She was born 10 months after he came home!
I currently stay at home with my daughter. I am planning on going back to work after she goes to school. For now we enjoy, Mommy and daughter activities together. Hannah attends Snyder Music Academy and Omega Gymnastics. We love to go to the beach and swim when the weather is nice.
