Francine's Story
Life
Certainly my life has not been about my job. I became a tax accountant to create an income, after realizing that at 21 I was not mature enough to be a serious artist, and after my first marriage, at 28, I had to learn to do something. Most recently I have written a memoir, Not a Poster Child - Living Well with a Disability - A Memoir. been the greatest gift in my life. I never had kids, but am now happily married to a man 11 years my junior, in age only. We rebuilt a house a few years ago in San Rafael, CA. and it is my greatest artistic endeavor. Now I am content to be here as much as possible with our cats, maintaining the place, working part time, and also maintaining my health. Post polio effects are fatiguing, and a bout with cancer a couple of years ago was scary but I now feel great. Life is good.
