Caroline's Story
Life
I married Richard Boyd in 1981 and have four sons. All four have played ice hockey. The oldest has graduated from college, works in Denver, and refs hockey games on occasion. The second son will graduate in May from the University of Northern Colorado. Son number three will graduate in May from Regis High School and still plays hockey. The youngest is in the 8th grade, plays hockey, and will go to Regis next year.
Richard is self-employed in construction. We met square dancing in 1980. We have lived in Aurora all 25 1/2 years. I don't relish the idea of buying a new house and moving. We have accumulated way too much "Stuff" over that t...Expand for more
ime. I'm a "saver", Richard throws away, and then I retrieve some that isn't trash.
I have worked at Kohls at Hampden and Tower since March 1999 part-time. I am currently looking for other full-time employment, but finding it difficult. When I was in my 20's I wasn't old enough and now even though they don't say it, I am not young enough.
Occasionally I see someone from High School. A little over a year ago at Kohls Mr. Simeneau (sp) that taught Biology was shopping. He hasn't changed much so I recognized him. He was widowed a few years ago. He was in again in January. It is hard to believe this year is our 35th anniversary of graduation!
