Elizabeth's Story
Life
After highschool graduation I spent the next two days packing to leave for the Navy. I swore in on 19JUNE01 and started bootcamp. I attended my training school in San Antonio Texas. I reported there just after 9/11 when they opened the flights back up and could get us a seat on the plane there. After completing school I was stationed in Pascagola Ms. (now closed thanks to Hurricane Katrina) till December 2004. I reported to Bahrain (island...Expand for more
off the coast of Saudi Arabia) immediately and was out on my first "mission" to Kuwait shortly after. I traveled to Kuwait, Iraq, Africa, Jordan, Greece, and the United Arab Emrites over the two and a half years I was there. I left to Greece and the island of Crete after that till March '07. Then a year working in Guantanamo Bay Cuba working detainee operations. Now I am happily relaxing and enjoying myself back stateside in Pensacola Florida.
