Anna's Story
Family and friends are my main focus in the last few years. I raised 4 children and am very involved with them still as well as my grandchildren. My husband (John) recently passed after a year long illness. One of my daughters lives with me. I am a scrapbook nut and also do genealogy. I stay close to my siblings and my Mom. Mom is now 92. My Dad died in 1974 and my brother Michael passed in 1994. Our family reunions each year on the 4th of July weekend are a wonderful time to re-connect. en. I get together with some high school friends each week for coffee. Most of the group worked on the 50th class reunion and we didn't want to lose touch again. I am still that small town girl from North Bennington, a lot older, a little wiser and not quite as naive. My grandchildren have to show me how to use new electronic gadgets like cell phones and how to empty the trash on my computer. They get a good laugh, at my expense, when I don't understand computer language and are happy to correct me when I try to figure it out. .
