Life
To All My Classmates,
After graduating with you at Valley Park, MO, I married Gordon Ziegler April 1965 whom I was dating while going to Valley Park. We lived in Frontenac for 12 years while Gordon worked for the St. Louis Blues and we adopted two sons, Cary Lee and Randy Lee. For a brief time we moved to St. Joseph, MO and then back to Ellisville, MO. We then got back in the golfing business when we bought a driving range in Ellisville. We managed Four Seasons Country club in Chesterfield for six years. As our sons were graduating high school, we bought a golf course in Washington, MO and moved there in 1990. Cary is our PGA golf pro and Randy is our greens superintendent. We have five grandchildren, the first being a boy, Noah, followed by four girls, Hannah, Talie, Macy and Zoey. Of course they're all precious and perfect in every way, and none are spoiled too much. Our sons and their families are the center of our lives now and we are very proud of them. hat we can make so many mistakes while raising them and they still turn out to be so grand! My Dad, Doyle Murphree and my Mother moved in with us February of 1995 and Daddy died of alzheimers in March of 1996. My Mother continues to live with us, is in the mid stages of alzheimers and has a weak heart at 88 years old. We have plans to slowly faze out of the business and have an easier lifestyle while spending as much time with our grandchildren as possible. I would love to hear from any and all of you and if you're in or near Washington, MO anytime, we would love to have you stop by Elmwood Golf Course and visit us. Our class of 1964 had a reunion at my home in Washington in 199?. I have stayed in touch with and remain very close to Mary Tompson Bougeno and have had visits to the golf course from Steve Bryant and Bobby Hildebrandt. Glenwood Bequette lives in this area and has played golf at our course frequently for years. While we all have grey to white hair (except for Mary) it's hard to believe that I could possibly be as old.
