Diane's Story
After Ells, I went to U.C. Davis and earned an English degree with a creative writing emphasis. Then I moved back to the bay area and started my career. I have a 17-year old daughter, who is an honor student.
I have worked for the same employer for 23 years, and absolutely love my job. My coworkers are terrific people, and they are like my second family. In my free time, I like to watch movies, read biographies of random people, collect snowglobes...Expand for more
, sew and play with my cats, Hannah & Juliet.
My brother & his family still live in the area, and are all doing well. My mom & stepdad moved up to the foothills and enjoy the relaxed pace of life there. My dad & his wife live in the midwest...I don't know how they stand those snowy winters, though!
I still keep in touch with fellow Ells alumni, such as Angie Ausban (Ausban-Smith), Jim Wong, Ivan Berry, and Victoria Curtis. You guys are the best! :)
