Shirley's Story
Life
I have recently retired and live near Wilmington, NC with my recently retired but gone-back-to-work husband. We actually are boomerang folks who live most of the school term in Kenansville, NC near his work at Mount Olive College and near 2 of our kids. Most weekends and in the summer we flock to our townhouse on Topsail Island in Surf City, NC.

e associate professor of education. I do consulting work in various schools, garden, research family history, fish, swim, sing, and direct our church choir.
We have 3 married daughters. One teaches French at NC State while earning her master's degree; the other teaches English at a nearby school of engineering. The oldest is an attorney with a large firm in San Jose, CA.
It would be great if any of my old Woodson pals came to vacation on Topsail Island and gave us a call.
