Life
I am the extremely proud birth mother of one (age 27)...adoptive mother of 4 (ages 4,6,8,15)...
I was a foster parent for over 10 years and adopted 4 children through foster care-they are such blessings-and I think I am a different mom this time around...maybe because I am too old to sweat the little things.
My birth son is a terrific baseball coach and teacher that and all around great guy-- he is such a loving and protective son of his mother --
I started college in the 70's (didn't we all???) but didn't finish my bachelors and went to technical school for computer programming. I was a programmer for 18 years...then decided to follow my heart with a paycheck, went back to college in 2005 ...Expand for more
and graduated with my bachelors in 2006! (I never did anything the easy way).
I just moved to Wilmington because I got a great opportunity in the area! (Tina and Gina...we are BaAaAack...!!!) I will be recruiting and training foster and adoptive parents for children.
I got on here looking around to see what the old gang was up to...where you are...how you are...and to see if anyone ELSE has prematurely gray hair like me....hahahah...but I would rather it "turn gray" than "turn loose" like some of the photos I have seen!
