Life
I look for opportunities to succeed. sometimes I find them, sometimes I don't. I have come to firmly believe in the premonition of dreams because I married my dream girl in Hong Kong December, 1993. The problem with my premonitions is I don't realize it until expost facto. We now have 3 boys. Put in 1 year at JCC Olean then joined the glorious US Navy Sept 1986 (added a lot of stuff in the military tab).
School
After RCH, went to JCC Olean, various military schools, Central Texas class on base in Sasebo, University of Maryland, on base in Okinawa. Everything else was hard knocks.

San Fransisco, Hawaii, Persian Gulf, and Pakistan
(served with my brother, Frank. Now he is a Ranch
hand in Colorado)
Sasebo Japan: USS San Bernardino (LST 1189) Sep 90-Dec 93.

San Diego , CA: USS Valley Forge (CG-50) January 94-Jan96, Visited
Hawaii, Panama city, Transitted the Panama
Canal...9 times!, Singapore, Persian Gulf, Fort
Lauderdale, Caracao, Columbia.
Discharged from navy service then mucked about as a civilian: Jan 1996-Mar 2000. I was kicked out, but my re-enlistment code would allow me to renter at some time in the futre. Theresa was very upset because the job security was gone.
Returned to service Mar 00.
Great Lakes IL: uniform reissue Mar-Jun 00
Yokosuka Japan: USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) Jun 00-Sep 03 Visited
Guam, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong,
Persian Gulf.
Okinawa Japan: CTF 76: Sep 03-Oct 06; Stayed on the Island for
the entire tour, went to Sasebo to help inspect
some of the ships there. Did a lot of operations
planning for amphibious groups passing through
between the Gulf and Stateside.
Washington, DC: US Naval Observatory: Oct 06- until at least Nov
09. My roll here is Fleet Liaison between the ships
and the astonomers and computer programs that
work here.
