Katrina's Story
Life
I finally went back to college and got a degree in Human Services from Wayland. I will eventually go back to LCU and get my Master's in Social Work. In school I never believed that I would be in my 30's before I graduted from college. It was a life changing move.
At this time, I work for the State of Texas as an Adult Protective Services Caseworker. I would not change what I do for anything in the world. I work with the elderly and disabled and I know that I am making a positive contribution as well as an impact on all of these wonderful individuals. I have been here for a year and I do not see a change in my future. The people that I help have made me a better person.
I have two wonderful children. Both boys, and I am grateful that they are. My oldest is 16. Yes, buckle your seat belts. Then I have a 10 year old. He is a handful. I still would not change a th...Expand for more
ing in this world. Garrett, the oldest, loves music, video games and hanging out with his friends. He has actually gotten very good at playing the bass. As for Dalton, he loves basketball, video games and annoying his big brother. They are both very loving.
As for me, I am still single and loving every minute of it. I am glad that the only people that I have to answer to is myself and my boys. I do date on occasion when I feel that I have met someone that I actually might like. My main priority is raising the two boys to be good men.
I just wanted to say that I am sorry that I did not keep in touch with more people from school. We all have a life to live, and I have lived mine well, as I hope everyone else has. My kids are at Idalou and you can get in touch with me there or through my parents, who are still going strong in the church. I hope to hear from some of you.
