Life
Joseph N. Manago is a mathematician, philosopher, composer  musician, molecular biologist, writer, and former professor in biomedical sciences at a dozen New York universities inclusive of the Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn (Downstate Medical Center of the State University of New York), City University of New York (New York City College of Technology; York College), Long Island University, New York Institute of Technology, and Pratt Institute. Joseph N. Manago is a contributor to the journal, Philosophical Practice, and is currently working on several other books, inclusive of "Mixed Company: Essays in Philosophy, Art Criticism, Psychology, History, and the Physical and Social Sciences." Joseph N. Manago did his doctoral studies at New York University, and earned his M. S. and B. S. degrees at the Vincentian Fathers St. JohnÂs University (New York). He is an active member and lecturer of the Mathematical Association of America, the American Mathematical Society, the American Philosophical Association, the American Philosophical Practitioners Association, and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
Joseph N. Manago has two sons, both of whom are mathematics majors at Queens College of the City University of New York.
