Cassie's Story
Life
I am moving back to Ohio to be near my family after living in Denver, Colorado for the past 18 years. I've lived there since 1990 when I got stationed at the Air Force Academy. After I got out I served a short stint in the Navy Reserves. Now, I'm a civilian and am finishing my M.B.A. I have worked for a non-profit organization overseeing Denver Children's Hospital organ donation and transplant and have worked in hospitals since I was 18 years old. systems in Pediatric ICU's and Neonatal ICU's. I was a traveling therapist for 8 years and have been to almost all 50 states for work and/or fun. Now I realize that the most important thing is my family. My parents are getting older (as am I:() and I know these are the best years I will have with them. I love Colorado and will visit often, but I love my family more. It will be strange to move back after being gone so long, but I'm looking forward to reconnecting with those I've been out of touch with and being home.
