Sandra's Story
Hello! I guess it's about time I added a bit of info to this pasty white page! Here goes . . .
After high school, I didn't pursue my education to the extent that I should have. I merely obtained enough to get by. My failure to do so had a lot to do with moving so far away from home (MS to NY) and wanting to just get it over with. That was the little naive person inside of me making decisions.
After moving to Texas and working for several years, it was time to bite the bullet and do what I should have done in the first place, especially since my company has a fabulous tuition reimbursement program.
Eventually, I got married. I say "eventually, because my mother thought I'd NEVER get married! By then, I was pushing 30. Who cares as long as you waited for the one YOU thought was the right one? Besides, I have two sisters who did the exact same thing.

sband's support made it easier to work full time and attend school. In fact, HE was the one who asked "Why don't you go for your master's?" So I did.
And "NO," we don't have children. We left that up to others, which works out so well for us! Relatives and friends alike can bring their children over for us to take to the park, go go-cart riding, to the movies or whatever. The fun part is when the parents come and pick them up. By then, our dose of reality will have hit a home run!
Both of us LOVE to travel. Although I like to ski, my personal favorite is anything having to do with water, except fishing, of course.
So, what do I do for a living? I'm an intranet webmaster. I maintain our corporate website, design department sites, train users on maintaining their sites and provide technical support.
