Brenda's Story
Life
Lived in Atlanta, GA for 12 years, West Palm Beach, FL area for 3 years, Los Angeles, CA for 8 years, Fremont, CA for 7 years, Houston, TX for 9 years and Stockton, CA for 12 years.
Since visiting in Barnesville, Asheville and Atlanta three years ago, I've realized growing up in small towns in North Carolina and Georgia wasn't so bad. I got my husband to take a car trip across the U.S. last year visiting friends along the way and to introduce him to western N.C. He liked it and we're now considering retiring there maybe...in a few years. Funny how life happens. One of my best friends in Houston, TX now lives near Greenville, SC; and I still have a couple of wonderful friends from high school in North Carolina and Georgia.
I always wanted to be a traveler when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
How do you blow off steam? Describe your favorite way to relax. Read a book or go watch the ocean whether its stormy or calm or be near almost any body of water.

'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a challenge, respect, and friends to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Do you have a hero? Talk about where your inspiration comes from. the friends I'm fortuneate to have; the brilliant people I've worked for and with, two wonderful children and a very patient and loyal husband.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Lee Gregory, because he was so interesting and focused on his goal; and a wonderful dancer..
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? Children after 40.
If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to charities, then spend the rest on a new home, our daughters and friends.
For 3 long months. My roommate was in love with a guy back home and depressing, but the campus life was great! Wish I had stayed in touch with some of those friends like Kay Huber, Judy Roper and Bill Murphy.
My current age is 70. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely a kid and clueless..
