Joseph's Story
Life
After the Navy, I drove to the coast of North Carolina with a friend. I lived like a bum on the beach and learned how to surf. I worked as a welder in a rock quary for a few years.
In 2001, I moved to Tennesse to go to college. I studied as hard as I could and graduated.
In 2004, I moved to Louisiana just south of New Orleans after finding a job working offshore in the oilfield indus...Expand for more

I love my job. It kind of reminds me of the times I had in the Navy. I guess that's because I travel around the world to work offshore. But I will never find friends like the ones I made in the Navy. I had a lot of good times as well as bad in the Navy, and I would not change a thing about my past.
