I've done pretty well staying in touch with a number of the friends I hung out with way back in Sterling Heights. How's the span of years affected you and your friendships? And interestingly, as of late, I've also connected with some guys from grade school! That's a little amazing to me. And kinda fun. As for other background info, I found the Q&A rather limited in its scope, so I thought I'd write a little bit here. Let's see how brief a synopsis I can provide: At present, I'm living down I-75, in Atlanta. Moved here in 2004. I had been visiting here for more than a decade, as my best friend had moved here in 1995. I grew fond of the city and the fun I'd had here, and when I got laid off again in Denver, I decided it was time to give the South a try. This may very well be where I stay. After 45 years of living in places that get snow in the winter, I've been digging the moderate temperatures we get down here. After high school, I went to UofM for a couple years, but only because everyone expected college to be the next phase. But after a couple years, with no clear calling or major, I split for Denver. Stayed there until '96, when I moved to New York for a few years. That didn't pan out much, as I found it to be a big, exciting, cold, lonely city. Back to Denver...Expand for more
