Dawn's Story
Life
Shortly after I moved away from California, I met my Mr. Right. We walked down the aisle 1 year and 1 day after we met. That was 19 years ago. Nearly a year after we married, we moved to the family farm. We lived there for 11 years. Our first daughter came along while we still lived in the country. We moved back to the city 8 years ago and have since added 3 more daughters to our family.
I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and have the privilege of home schooling our girls. I have recently gone back to school to get my degree in nutrition with the goal of becoming a nutrition counselor.
My husband is a consultant. He travels the country giving workshops on youth entrepreneurship as well as youth retention and attraction for small communities.

wned a small quilt shop. I loved creating quilts, teaching the art of quilting and selling Amish made quilts. Quilting is something I still love to do, however, my time is so limited that I'm unable to accomplish as much as I would like. I am currently teaching two of our daughters the art of quilt making and am looking forward to teaching the younger two in the near future.
Our 3 year old daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. She was diagnosed at 15 months old; 3 weeks after the birth of our youngest daughter. Consequently, we are very involved with our local chapter of .JDRF.
Our life is a little chaotic at times, but our home is full of laughter. God granted me the deepest desires of my heart and gave me more than I could have ever dared to dream. All I ever wanted was to be a wife and a mom - He gave me that 4 times over:)
