Military
The Normal amount of time you stand watch (doing nothing-can't sit) is 4 hours. I am on Hold till Aug. 27th for 9 weeks of schooling. after which I could spend 2 weeks to 3 months for a 9 month "C" School. After ward I get assigned a ship then I go to ops ( teaches me specificaly what to do and what to expect on that ship-every ship is different) For x amount of days then go on hold till I am to board the ship...

Liberty- Free time given to us
Phase 1-Can't leave base, stays in uniform at all times on base. no drinking at all, no driving
Phase 2-Can leave base during liberty, can wear civilian clothes on base when on liberty, can drink, can drive
Duty section-basically your assigned day to look after the base, stand watches, and clean the base. Not allowed to wear civilian clothes or leave base.
Muster-head count make sure every one is where they are suppose to be, safty check basically
