James's Story

I moved to Birmingham, Al. and found a job with the telephone company. Then I spent two years in the Army in the Panama Canal. It was hard as a 19 year old but still a blessing. After that I came back to Birmingham to continue my career with AT&T. During this time I studied Business and Labor Law at Jeff State and Univ of Al. Birmingham. Then I meet and married my lovely wife...Expand for more
Deborah Loggins. We have four wonderful children. Our first 2 children, Chad & Dawn are twins, boy and girl. They weighed 2 lbs at birth. Next our second daughter, Wendy, weighed 4 lbs. Then came our last child and second son, Bret. Our children have given us 5 grand children now, A.J., Alston, Brooke, Jaelyn, and Regan. In 1998 I retired from AT&T after 31 years at age 51.
