Lisa's Story

Life I moved from Northampton in 1986 and lived in Vermont for a year at Sugarbush Ski Area. I moved back home went to school Skills, Secretary School and attended HCC for a year. After getting my first office job, I met my first husband at Tubed Products. We were married for 11 years and lived on Knight Avenue in Easthampton. Amanda and Adriana are our daughters together. The day my divorce was final with John ... I married Jonathan. Can you believe that? What a fluszy. I met him at work years before Log Cabin (his family owned the restaurant before it was a banquet house). In the 1990's I also worked for the East-side Grill, Martini's and worked as a Bridal consultant/Head Server at the Log Cabin & Banquet House. n Jonathan and I were married in 1999 we worked as long-term consultants in the Berkshires at the Warfield House in Charlemont, MA. After nearly 3 years, we stumbled upon a job that brought us to the town of Southbridge, MA. We had never even heard of the town till we received a call from one of his old bartenders from his old restaurant at the Hofbrauhaus in West Springfield. The house was 85% renovated from an 8 family-unit back to a single family home - ready to become a butler school of all things?..The deal had gone sour and WE decided to buy it for a Bed & Breakfast and Restaurant! Crazy for sure, we work an incredible amount of hours and are often tired & dazed. It's all worth it, oh........the stories we could tell, the people we have met and the place we have gone. It's life changing for all the family.

My Family - Jonathan (2nd marriage of 8 years) and our daughters. We just enjoyed a week at the Grand Mount Washington Hotel skiing, snowbording, snow mobiling and tubing, hence the rosy cheeks!
