Erica's Story
For those that care to read...
After high school I started ICC 3 weeks after having my son Anthony who is now 11.
I graduated in July 1999 with my Surgical Technologist certificate and started my first real job at OSF St. Francis hospital in Surgery on the Ortho team. I loved the Dr's and the job but not the HUGE amounts of call!!
I started OSF Center for Health in Surgery in June 2001 when it was brand new! I went back to ICC in August 2002 and graduated in May 2006 with my Associate's degree in Nursing! I passed my boards on...Expand for more
the first time which was a relief. I still work at the same place in Surgery but just as a Circulating RN instead of scrubbing! I do scrub from time to time and I love doing it!
During 2003 I planned our wedding and got married and built a house while going to school and working! I married Chad Miller (East Peoria Class of 92) and live in Washington with our 1 son, 4 dogs and many fish! Well, I hope that answers most of what I have been doing in the last 11 years!
