John's Story
Life
I work for Standard & Poor's J.J. Kenny doing Municipal Bond research. This may surprise many people as they remember me for Art most of all in H.S. Truth is, art is a very competitive field and I never made the sacrifices early on in my college years to get formal training to work in the art field professionally. The job I have pays pretty well but I hope to do something more. I still draw, build models and even sculpt for my own enjoyment. I used to have a gallery online but took it down. I'll have to create a new one soon.
I studied at Queens College but didn't graduate. I only got as far as Lower junior-so close! Communications, Arts & Sciences was my major,
(Film & TV production, script-writing, analysis ) and took art as a minor. If anyone works in film/tv/theatre, (production or acting, voice acting), or some art field and feel I might be suitable for an entry-level position please contact me as I would be interested.

ny Vaccarro, he still works in Middle Village at Vaccarro Construction Co. and can be reached there. We have been in touch all these years. I'm also in contact with Frank Datollo, he worked in theatre for the deaf for a while I think, and I might be able to reach Laura Mirick, she's a successful photographer as far as I know. I don't remember her married name at the moment. I also used to be in touch with Mrs. Mary Walsh the art teacher. She divorced and re-married. I may have her last known address, not in NY anymore, but I would probably have to contact her to see if it's still valid. From my grade-school years I am still in touch with Michael Pitoscia via email. He has moved to Staten Island.
I live in Whitestone, NY; am still single, having missed an opportunity to marry in 1998. I have also gained some weight - which I hope to work off at the gym if I can find the motivation. Anyone wishing to reach me via email can do so thru this site or directly at johnmiic at aol.com.
