Michelle's Story
Life
I have two kids named Matthew and Joshua. They are cuties that both have my blue eyes. I am a 4th grade teacher who absolutely loves what she does. I majored in Elem Education in college and went to one of the best teachers' colleges in Oklahoma. Teaching is something I don't think I ever want to give up.
I am absolutely passionately sold out for Jesus. (You all thought I was religous back then, you have no idea). I am very involved in a Pentecostal church. I sing in choir and serve as an intercessor. I also work with the womens' ministry sometimes.
I had a hard childhood and not many people thought I would make it this far. I don't think many people realized truly what was going on in my life while I was at TGCS. I have overcome a lot of obstacles to get where I am at and I attribute it all to God. Without him, I'm nothing. I will always attribute TGCS as the place where I first found Jesus.
I live in Dallas, Texas. ...Expand for more
I love Texas and wouldn't change a thing about it.
My life is never how I thought it would be. It's so much better. God has truly blessed my family and I. If your all ever down South, give a hollar.
I may not have graduated from TGCS but I sure spent enough years with you folks (10 to be exact). I will never forget some of you.
School
My favorite teachers- Mrs. Sinks, Mrs. Maslowski:) and Mrs. Reeder. I loved them all!
I would definately skip Jr. High all together. I have unchristian words to describe those years y'all.
My best memory of TGCS- coming to know Jesus in third grade.
2nd Best- Seeing Handel's Messiah with Miss Moss and Miss Hendrick plus about 3 or 4 other students. It was an inspirational and life changing moment for me. Terry, if you read that, tell your older sister that.
3rd Best- Playing "Christian" in the Jr. High musical in 8th grade.
The saddest moment- the funeral of Mrs. Maslowski.
