Anna's Story
I graduated from ENMU-R in 1986 with an Associates and went on to EMNU in Portales and graduated with a BBA in 1989. A few days later, I married Mike and we moved to Lovington, where we lived for 9 months. We chose Artesia and moved there in 1990. Mike was a police officer in Artesia. He went up the ranks to administration until he left about 4 years ago to return to college. I began working for a utility company in April 1990 and have been there ever since. We no kids or grand kids other than numerous nieces and nephews. We have two spoiled and obnoxious cats who rule our big old rambly house that's full of books (imagine that).
Other than working, we spend a lot of time doing home improvement projects and trying to keep our place mowed. We travel some (love to cruise) and camp.
I have too many hobbies to ever do all that I want. I am an avid jewelry designer (bead freak), reader and serious cook. My gym membership gets as much of a workout as I do, although I'd rather walk in the park than on a treadmill.
