Mary Ellen's Story
I graduated St Patrick & George Elementary School in 1958. I was part of the first graduating class. My parents owned a general store in Srub Oak. My two brothers and I worked there. me. I worked in NYC most of my working career and also worked in White Plains, NY and Greenwich, Conn. I moved to FL in 1994. Worked at various positions until I got laid off and then retired 1.5 yrs later. My favorite jobs in NY were two banks and in FL a local newspaper, The Palm Beach Post.
