New News
My last day of vacation today. (09/11/11) We just hung around the house and relaxed. We did go to Branson, MO for a couple of days. It was OK I guess. I usually don't care for those touristy places.
Old News
Hi everyone. I've been a few places since I left High School. I joined the Navy and spend most of my time in Spain. After the service I went to OSU for a couple of years but didn't graduate. I needed a change so I moved to Colorado in 1980. It was great place for a 25 year old Doug, lots of things to do. I lived there for 4 years until their economy went bad. I moved to Dallas after that and lived there for 3 years. Dallas is a nice city. That part of Texas is really nice. I couldn't ...Expand for more
see it as a long term home though. So, in 1988 I moved back to Ohio. I lived there long enough to marry a girl from Danville. (Meredith Miller) We moved back to Colorado in 1989 and lived there until 2004. It was time for a change! My friend, Ron Bird (class of 77) had lived in Arkansas for ages and invited us down there to visit. We moved to Arkansas. It is nice here. We live in Bella Vista. It is in the Northwest corner of Arkansas. We like it here. It is similar to Ohio but with less winter. There are lots of lakes and rivers in this area. When you get 15-20 miles east of us you start getting onto the Ozark Mountains. That is always a nice drive!
