Amanda's Story
I married my best freind of 10 years in 2006 after I earned my BA in Education from KSU. I am currently a homeowner in Marietta. I teach third grade at Labelle elementary. I have gained many life changing experiences since High School which affect the way I live my life, interact with others and just plain do stuff. I have 2 chihuahua's (my children), Bambi is 3 and Gidget is 2.
Shaun and I are fans of 20! Tony Stewart has not had the golden season this year but we feel he will recover. The poor guy has gotten the short end of the stick. Every race we end up shouting "He was robbed....again!"
When I am not teaching I work as a Veterinary Technician or Pharmacy Technician. If only I were better in Science I could excel professionaly in these areas. I love meeting friends and having ...Expand for more
fun! I enjoy doing photography on the side as well.
I am still recovering from the 5 surgeries done on my right knee...hopefully they got it right this time!! It is very hard for me to get over this. I can no longer run or do high impact activities/sports. I hope to again one day. Until then I walk my dogs in their stroller around the neighborhood and the Avenues. It's incredible the affect the anestesia can have on you and your body. They should do a report about it. My asthma has increased, I stopped smoking and I am more emotional (possible?...um, yeah!).
I hope in a couple of years to start a family. I wanted to be married for a while first, to travel and do the whole establish myself thing. Until then I enjoy playing with everyone else's babies and then handing them back!!
