Lindsey's Story

Gosh...where do I start? After high school, I went to Indiana University in Bloomington. I changed my major 3 times in three years, met a great guy (now my husband), and finally settled on Occupational Therapy for a career. I ended up earning an associate's degree in OT and became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
I married my husband Steve in the fall of 1986, so this September, I will celebrate my 22nd wedding anniversary. We have two kids, Chris, 18 and Nick 15. Chris just graduated from high school and will attend Purdue University in the fall majoring in engineerin...Expand for more

I practiced OT for about 10 years working in physical rehabilitation and am now an Associate Professor at Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville, KY. I returned to IU and earned a degree in General Studies which allows me to teach in the occupational therapy assistant program at the college. I've been there for 11 years now.
I still live in Indiana, pretty far south though, so I guess I'm still a Hoosier at heart. I don't get back home very often, but occasionally make it up there to visit family.
