Evelyn's Story

Update: 9/1/11 One of the main reasons I joined Classmates 2 years ago was to find my friend Nancy from high school. I found her, and we have been the best of friends ever since. It is such a blessing to have a friend for 40 years who knew you when you were young and now we are in a new chapter in our lives. Through her, I was able to reconnect with others from high school. On 9/11/11 my membership in Classmates will end. I will not be renewing. Presently, I am on facebook. My name there is Evelyne Foy for those who wanted to reconnect from my past. On another note, our beloved dogs whom I mentioned earllier, Seabiscuit and Kailey passed away a month apart earlier this year. My husband and I have 2 wonderful new dogs, Rocco a miniture pin and Isaiah a mixed we adopted from the shelter. "nest" for college. One of my favorite activities that I enjoy doing is photography.I am a visual person and I like looking at pretty things and creating or capturing beauty around me. I enjoy decorating. I have a garage full of pictures, paintings and knick knacks and depending on my mood, I enjoy rotating things around my home. I love going to garage sales, browsing the internet, listening to a variety of music, reading blogs, writing and hanging out with my husband, family and dogs. I have good memories of the time I was at North High, and I've been curious about what ever happen to some of my old friends and classmates. I was there as a freshman in 1970 (Class of 1974) but I hung out mostly with the grades above me the Class of 1973. One of the things that amazes me is about our time that we have here on earth. Our time is precious and it seems to be on speed dial. I consider myself a spiritual person.
