Phil's Story
Finally graduated high school and college in Colorado. Went to work in Texas and then Tennessee for awhile. Spent more time kayaking than working so I quit and headed down to Costa Rica for a couple of years. Worked as the Whitewater Program Manager for the Costa Rica Rainforest Outward Bound School. sweet rivers and paddled a few first descents. Came back to California and got a masters. Spent a couple of years across the world working with a Japanese robotics company. Hanging out in Texas at the moment. Living in Austin and enjoying a great city. Been racing flatwater kayaks since there is no whitewater down here!
