Dana's Story
Hi all,
After all these years my family is still in Grand Haven. We enjoy the waterfront, boating local waterways and traveling around the state. I retired after 30 years working as an LPN. I have two beautiful daughters, Marta, an RN working in nursing in Oklahoma, and Amanda, mother of two great girls,10 and 15, working as a legal assistant in a Spring Lake firm. My husband is an IT manager and takes me camping and boating. We've recently adopted three dogs and have fun walking and playing with them.
Update 10/09- sad but true we sold our boat and motor home for a 5th wheel and truck. Still traveling when we can.
2011update...Looks like age is catching up to me, as well as parents genetics. I've developed asthma and seem to be allergic to ever...Expand for more
ything. The Docs thought I had Parkinson's but, luckily or not, it's just an unidentifiable movement disorder. Going on 28 years of fibromyalgia pain and all the unpleasant symptoms that involves. Otherwise life is great...lol. I have a wonderful and supportive husband of 22 years who stays close by my side and loves me even tho I've gotten pretty plump. Our pet population continues to evolve and now is three, two Poms and the shitzu/ cocker mix. Seems life goes on and I continue to believe in a few honest rules:
When in doubt - DON'T;
Keep God first in all things:
I can not tolerate people who lie, steel, gossip or belittle people
and finally, a since of humor, inner strength, friends and family top the list of the blessings God has given me.
