Nancy's Story
Hey. It's hard to believe that over 40 years have passed since we were all roaming the halls of the now demolished MHS. I spent 30 of those years in Higher Ed administration, about 8 years in various educational programs and the last 4 I have opened a boarding kennel for dogs on our property. I can walk to work in my jammies if I want. I live north of Columbus, Ohio, and commuted to Ohio State until I retired, so being at home all the time is a real treat for me.
I still visit Moundsville regularly and my mother gives me a subscription to the Echo each Chr...Expand for more
istmas so I keep up on who died or got arrested.. Occasionally I see the name of someone I recognize, these days it's usually because a grandkid is having a birthday.
I have been married to my soul mate for over 37 years now. We have no human children -- our only regret is that means we don't have grandkids! We have always had a number of furkids and have been involved in dogs, breeding and showing when we were young and stupid and more recently rescuing and re-homing ones who need it.
Hope anyone who reads this is having a Boomer retirement like I am.
